The inspirational potential of Costco hotdogs

I took a screenwriting class in college to fulfill my degree requirements, and because I thought it would be fun. In that class, I wrote a short comedy about the Kirkland Costco hot dog sign appearing in weird places, as a sort of way to analyze my own life. 

Since then, I’ve written a lot more--I use screenwriting as a way to understand the world around me and process what happens. I gravitate to writing comedy and coming of age short films.

So far, I've gotten quarterfinalist in the Filmmatic Comedy Screenplay Competitions Season 7, in 2022. I hope to further place in competitions and hopefully one day get one of my screenplays developed. :)
